Quick Actions are the app icon shortcuts on iPhone that open Unfair directly to You, Library, or Journal without making you tap through the app first.
What quick actions are
In Unfair, Quick Actions are the menu items that appear when you long-press the app icon on your Home Screen or in the App Library.
They are different from the actions attached to reminder notifications. Quick Actions belong to the app icon itself. Notification actions belong to a specific reminder and only appear when that reminder is delivered. If you want the broader setup guide for both, start with Quick Actions and Shortcuts.
Where they appear
You can see Quick Actions in iOS when you:
- long-press the Unfair app icon on the Home Screen
- long-press the Unfair app icon in the App Library
Unfair currently exposes three app icon Quick Actions:

What each quick action does
You
`You` opens the main You tab. This is the right choice when you want to get back to your personal view and continue from there.
Library
`Library` opens the Library tab directly. Use it when you want to browse the supplement library without first landing in You.
Journal
`Journal` opens your Journal from the You side of the app. If you are already in You, Unfair opens Journal there. If you are somewhere else, Unfair switches back to You first and then opens Journal.
What quick actions do not do
Quick Actions do not replace reminder actions.
They do not show `Log Now`, `Snooze 30m`, or `Skip This Dose`. Those are notification actions tied to reminder notifications, not app icon Quick Actions. If you are looking for missing reminder buttons, check Local Notifications instead.
If quick actions seem to be missing
Try these checks in order:
- Make sure you are long-pressing the app icon itself, not opening the app normally.
- Reopen Unfair once, then close it and try again. The app refreshes its Quick Actions when it is active.
- Confirm you are on iPhone. This help page describes the iOS app behavior.
- If you expected reminder buttons like `Log Now`, check whether you are actually looking for notification actions instead of app icon Quick Actions.
- If reminder actions are the part that seems missing, make sure notifications are allowed for Unfair and review Local Notifications.
